Colour My Life.
Back in primary school, I looked forward to every reccess time not because it was the time I could play with my friends, even then I barely had friends, not because I was hungry but because that was the time I could go to the bookshop and spend my pitiful daily allowance on yet another item that I didn’t need. I was that kid with the pencil case full of every possible eraser imaginable; the ones with smell, the ones with the plastic brush, the ones that looked like fruits, the ones that came in a tiny suitcase and the list goes on. Purchasing these things gave me a senseless sort of joy that soon became the highlight of my day.
I have not changed that much. Ever since I found out that the minimart at the basement of this office building sells OPI nail polish for $15 a pop, I’ve been going to the shop every lunchtime to gaze at the array of colours. For a week, I succeeded in convincing myself not to buy anything because surely I don’t need to spend what little income I have on such frivolous things then last Friday, the uncle brought in the Swiss collection and the inevitable happened.
Meet my new nail polish colour: Ski Teal We Drop.

Gorgeous isn’t it except it stains the fingernails.
And like an addict, I am itching to get another bottle. This one perhaps?

How can one resist?
